with Durga Leela

10 Day Certificate Course – October 6-15, 2017: $1695 including Room and Board.  See below for early bird pricing.

3 Day Immersion – October 6-8, 2017: $395 including Room and Board.

Yoga of Recovery invites us to undertake heartfelt self-reflection around our various addictive processes and guide us on how to utilize the many healing aspects of the vedic sciences in the recovery process.

We’ll look at our own story – to trace the roots of our addictive behaviors.  This approach appeals to all types of people … those in long-term recovery, those reluctant to call themselves an ‘addict’, those who prefer secular self-help programs over the 12-steps, those who are not sure they have ‘addiction’ but know they need help with some aspect of their life, those who ‘do’ yoga, those who ‘can’t do yoga” – EVERYONE!

Let’s change our story from one of suffering to one of healing – making use of yogic practices that appeal to our emotional temperament – physical practice, devotional practices, self enquiry techniques, psychology and philosophy.  You’ll also love the Ayurvedic tools – the science of self healing, helping us to EMBODY our recovery 🙂

You may take this program as an immersion retreat or a certificate course.

Early Bird pricing ends September 8, 2017.

The Amrit Yoga Institute is located in Salt Springs, Florida, amid the tranquil beauty of the Ocala National Forest on Lake Kerr, a spring-fed lake of nearly 3,000 acres. Beneath a canopy of towering Live Oaks, the six-acre campus features lush tropical gardens, stone decks and walkway, and a peaceful sand beach. The property includes a Main House, Lodge, two small cabins and the new Ayurveda Center, to accommodate our offices, programs, and guests. The food we serve is not only vegetarian and organic, most is from a local farm. This secluded haven offers the ideal setting for a retreat of self-discovery and exploration of life’s mysteries, away from the distractions of day-to-day life. Here you can immerse yourself in a supportive, nurturing environment, and emerge enriched and transformed. Dedicated to serving and awakening the highest consciousness within all, the purpose of our campus is to provide a sacred space where you can explore the deeper meaning of life, and reach out to experience new levels of freedom in body, mind and spirit.
